Personal Care

All aspects of what someone would find personal to them. This could include the following, giving medicine, making food, day-to-day tasks, and helping to clean yourself and getting you ready for the day ahead.

Light Housework

As part of our time with you, If you're struggling to bend over or bed-bound we can help you with light housework. This includes the likes of doing your washing up, laundry and hovering. Anything that can be done in the time frame we will try to complete as much as we can to give you a helping hand.

All our staff are also trained in PEG/RIG Care, Stoma Care, Catheter Care, Diabetes Care, and Dementia Care.

Any other service that may not be listed can be discussed. We're also able to hire out equipment to those who may need such for day trips, holidays, etc from Wheelchairs to Commodes and everything in between, please enquire at what we have available.


Our friendly team are always available for companionship, from anything from making a cup of tea and having a chat, to just knowing someone is in the house there with you to give you that peace of mind.

Accompanied Visits

We can accompany your visits to hospital appointments, hairdressers, etc. Going out anywhere but need a carer with you at that time to help out we can also help with your social outings. We can also accompany to do your daily, weekly, or monthly shopping

We ensure our client's physical, mental and social needs are holistically assessed and their care and treatment are supported in line with current legislation.

  • Caring, this means our staff treats our clients with compassion, kindness, dignity, and respect. Our client's relatives and friends are always made to feel welcome and part of Our Family.

  • Responsive Care, this means our service meets our clients' needs. We always ensure that it is easy for our clients and their family to raise any points of concern or compliments through our clear system. Our clients are treated compassionately and are given the help they need to do this.  All concerns are treated with openness, transparency, and confidence.

  • Well-led Care, this means our leadership and management and governance of our service ensures the delivery of high-quality and client-centered care. We support learning and innovation along with an open and fair culture. At Our Family Home Care, we always make sure that our staff are supported, respected, valued and they have their rights and well-being protected, and are motivated, caring, and open.



We offer a minimum of half-hourly appointments, hourly appointments, and block care. All prices, please see below.

Invoices are sent on the 27th of each month, to a confirmed email address and are due to be paid within 7 days. We do have a late charge fee of £30 if invoices are not paid, without prior notice.

For accompanied trips only, we charge 45p per mile and any parking charges, as well as the hourly rate.


For all potential new clients, an assessment will take place within the home. 

This will be done by Kim who will holistically assess all aspects of your requirements. We always invite any questions you may have and invite any family members that you feel should be present. All our carers are motivated and are proud of the services we and they provide. 

They have been highly trained, by us, offer a premium service, and will be aware of all your needs. We will try to ensure that your carers will be the same few people and known to you on a regular basis.


Some clients may find that they are entitled to funding for care, from Social Services. 

If required, we can arrange an assessment to be carried out for you to see if you qualify. Any client that pays for their own care can relax with the knowledge that there are no hidden charges.
